Haig Armen of LiFT Studios Interviews Clive



Clive had the good fortune to have a talk with Haig Armen, Creative Director of LiFT Studios in Vancouver. The conversation starts with Clive explaining how his past experiences have lead him to becoming a web developer. Then he explains how the idea of Pixton came about and some of the features he hopes to roll out in the near future. It concludes with a discussion about how Google and SketchUp are leveraging user contributions to build a central repository of digital 3D models and a replica of the world.

Pixton Unveils World's First Remixable Animated Comics

Pixton is a whole new way to express yourself!

With our click-and-drag comic creator you can easily customize characters, move them into any pose, and compose up to 12 rows of scenes right on the page. Embed comics in your blog or social network and get your friends to remix them. Make friends and fans around the world and connect through automatic translation.

Soon you will be able to bring your comics to life with animation. Just set your keyframes and let Pixton do the rest! Animations are rendered to video so you can post to your favourite sites. Pixton lives online, all you need is a web browser (IE, Safari, Firefox) and a Mac or PC.

Help Pixton win the SXSW "People's Choice Award" - vote now!


Pixton has been named a finalist in the Amusement category for the 12th Annual SXSW Web Awards in Austin, TX.

The SXSW Web Awards honor the most innovative new projects and destinations on the internet. We are thrilled to be selected for this award, it is a great honour and we are looking forward to attending the ceremony.

Help us win the People's Choice Award! Every vote counts, and you can vote for Pixton once a day until March 6th.
